Final Update

About a month ago, in preparation for the fast approaching travel, I received my final update about Bailey.  The SWI (Social Welfare Institute, or orphanage) sent measurements.  Bailey is at about the 1st percentile for all measurements.  She weighs 28 pounds (exactly what Bakha weighed when I met her) and is barely in 3T's.  I received several new pictures and noticed that Bailey had a brand spanking new bowl cut.  This picture is my favorite because of the beautiful eye lashes and chubby cheeks (not to mention the very sophisticated pincer grasp!):


My three page to do list that I've been working off of for the past three months is down to less than a page.  We are getting close and it actually feels like everything will get done by Tuesday night (our flights leaves at 5:45AM Wednesday!).

    3 weeks from today, 1 couple from the Netherlands is going to take their son home from the Jiaxing SWI. He is almost 3 years old.
