Easy Day

We only had one appointment today. Bailey had her medical exam which consisted of five stations: ENT, anthropometrics, TB test (which she tolerated just fine although she treated her arm like it was wounded for a few hours afterwards), general medical exam, and something else which has already escaped me.

We hung out at the hotel, explored around it (found some great Thai food which we brought back to the hotel for lunch) and then met a bunch of families for Cantonese food for dinner. I have to say, Bakha has been a very adventurous eater this trip and now has several new favorite foods: congee, steamed buns, and Cantonese spare ribs. She has even tried shrimp and mushrooms. Bailey, on the other hand is on the beige diet: noodles, hard boiled egg whites, bananas, and fried rice. She'll occasionally try a little meat. And water only to drink.

Here are some pictures of our fancy dancy hotel. I was going to take more but my camera batteries died as I was walking around:

It's called the Garden Hotel. This is why:

And here is Bailey taking a bath tonight. I found some shaving cream in the room which she loved smearing all over the glass between the bathroom and bedroom (the window has a shade which can be lowered by a remote):

And one more picture of Bailey getting ready to go out for the day:
